Prostate Cancer Support Orchid Society Byron District Orchid Society will meet Group The next meeting of the Northern Rivers Day Prostate Cancer Support Group is to be held on Wednesday 13 July at 10am until 12 noon at the Alstonville Bowling Club, Deegan Drive, Alstonville. Men previously and newly diagnosed with prostate cancer are urged to join with the group to experience the cancer stories told, which give a great opportunity for all to share, learn and benefit from each other. Partners and carers are also most welcome to attend as family are very much involved in the process and treatment of those with this diagnosis. Guest Speaker is Kate Goswell on Men’s Health Exercise. Flood Grants Mullumbimby CWA branch has $20,000 in grants for flood affected people and businesses in postcode areas 2482 and 2483. Grants of $500 will be given on a needs basis.
