THE ORIENT ON YOUR DOORSTEP The locals’ favourite Red Ginger stores in Byron Bay and Bangalow started life 17 years ago as a tiny Asian grocery. This element is still going strongly. ‘For anyone cooking Asian food, we have the best brands including from local producers Zest, Tridosha, Kombucody‘s seaweeds and fresh organic herbs and veges from Boon Luck Farm.’ The hot dumpling steamer at the front of the stores serves hot steaming dumplings all day long. Sitting in the store eating dumplings or indulging in a Portuguese custard tart with free green tea is a treat. Beautiful Japanese ceramics, tea, and teaware are also a big part of Red Ginger including the traditional teapot-warmer baskets. 5HG *LQJHU LV D ULRW RI FRORXU 7KH VWDĆŞ DSURQV ZKLFK DUH DYDLODEOH WR EX\ IHDWXUH bright peonies and phoenixes, both symbols of good luck in China. WHAT MAKES FRAXEL UNIQUE? The use of fractional lasers has reduced the number of solar keratoses (pre-cancerous skin lesions). The medical-grade Fraxel at Dr Hawkins is the only model US FDA approved for this purpose. The signs of sun damage, pigmentation, and ageing appear on more than our face. Fraxel can treat your face, neck, dÊcolletage, hands, and other areas for improvement all around. Fraxel delivers multiple microscopic columns of light energy into your skin to emulate a micro-wound, which stimulates your skin’s natural healing and rejuvenation response. It enables your skin to remove dead or damaged skin cells, rebuild collagen, and reveal new layers of skin with long-lasting clarity and suppleness. ,W LV Hƪ HFWLYH DW WUHDWLQJ VXQ GDPDJH SLJPHQWDWLRQ DFQH VFDUULQJ Ə QH OLQHV DQG GDUN lesions caused by sun exposure, and some forms of keratosis.
