Auld Lang Syne is the poem by Scots poet Robert Burns. It’s basically means ‘for the sake of old times’. For some reason nothing quite hits the sense of nostalgia than a few bars of this song which reminds us all that pretty soon we’ll fade to dust. It says if we forget our friends and fall out of love and the past is gone and our hearts have gone cold, we should look back on old times. Depressing I know. But in order to look back, you have to have done something worth looking back on.

There’s just so much ... so The Echo has on offer in our lovingly curated the region - from best of what’s on offer quiet moments of to save you the trouble! contemplation, to community gatherings, to comedy, to wild celebration Here’s your at festivals or dance parties.
