Shimjang.com – self-defence Byron Bay FC Shimjang Taekwondo is a non-competitive self defence martial art style that dedicates itself to the development and wellbeing of its practitioners.

Shimjang is suitable for men, women and children of all ages, and assists in perseverance, self-control and self-esteem; as well as hand-eye co-ordination, balance, confidence, flexibility and fitness.

2016 was another great year for the general men’s. Byron’s emerging youngsters highlighted the club’s depth and the 2017 lineup should be even more enjoyable. Training begins 6.30pm February 1.
Free open day & new classes at Spaghetti Circus Wanna join the circus? Imagine what’s possible! Spaghetti Circus’s free Open Day is on Saturday, 4 February 9am–2pm at their home in the Mullumbimby Showgrounds. Look for the iconic red-and-yellow stripey doors. Register online to attend a free sample class at spaghetticircus.com. You can also enrol online and secure your $30 earlybird discount for classes booked by 5 Feb. Check out new classes in Anti-Gravity® Aerial Yoga and Acrobatics for Dancers, available to trial at Open Day. There are lots of opportunities for adults to get moving this term at Spaghetti too, where people of all ages can learn new skills, increase confidence and get stronger. Daytime classes are available Tuesday and Thursday 10am–12pm after school drop-off or Wednesdays 6–8pm. Spaghetti Circus often has the unique opportunity of presenting world-renowned trainers at their humble Mullum training space. Juniors BBFC’s junior programs continue to nurture our young boys and girls with an emphasis on quality coaching and mentoring. 6–11s is about teamwork and fun while the 12–16s teams are more competitive.
