According to our informant, Sonya Wright discovered this flying fox in the coils of a python and called Australian Wildlife Rescue to see if they could help. Fortunately for the flying fox the python decided to let it go and slithered away. By the time the rescuers arrived the flying fox was already recovering and they took it away for more care.
