Byron Shire Council Notices CALL OUT FOR FOCUS GROUP PARTICIPANTS Are you a parent of young children 12 years and under? Are you the main person responsible for planning, shopping and cooking meals? If you answered yes to both questions – then join us for a focus group discussion being conducted as part of a joint Council education program. The group will discuss waste wise planning techniques, packaging prevention and cooking with less waste. IMMUNISATION CLINICS Free Immunisation clinics are held in conjunction with the North Coast Area Health Service each month at: • Bangalow Community Health, 35 Granuaille Road, Bangalow Thursday 14 August 2014 (2nd Thursday of each month), 1.30pm - 3.30pm; • Brunswick Heads Community Centre, South Beach Road, Brunswick Heads Thursday 28 August 2014 (4th Thursday of each month), 1.30pm - 3.30pm. PET SHOW SUNDAY 10TH AUGUST 2014 FROM 10.00AM TO 3.00PM

BRUNSWICK HEADS PRIMARY SCHOOL $5 registration fee per pet Lets you enter your pet into as many events as you want. If you have a pet you may like to come to the Pet Show where there will be a programme of events such as sausage race, best dressed pet, pet most like its owner, most colourful pet, cutest pet, creepiest pet, fluffiest tailed pet, handsomest boy pet, prettiest girl pet, pet with personality plus, most interesting pet. There will be a sausage sizzle, stalls, lucky dip for pets and kids, treats for pets, advice on animal care, face painting, cat and dog microͲchipping for $25 special, Barco dog obedience demonstration, Nail clipping services. The Pet Show is being organised by members of the Brunswick Heads Progress Association as a joint fund raiser with Brunswick Heads Primary School's P&C and Companion Animal Welfare Inc. 1. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 2. Every pet has to be restrained, controlled or contained i.e. dogs must be collared and leashed and pet snakes to be in containers 3. BHPA has the right to refuse any entrant deemed by veterinarians to be at risk to the welfare of other pets or members of the public. 4.Livestock such as horses, cows, goats etc are excluded. Lambs and pigs on leads may register 5. BHPA has the right to refuse any entrant and request removal of any entrant from the grounds at any time.
