DANCIN ESCAPE Escape is a funky Halloween full moon happening that’s one third live stage, one third dance party, one third multi-art experience. Escape will also offer an outdoor chill space screening short films from the Byron Film Club early in the evening before converting later to a musical zone for all night party people. From mid evening Byron live act Mission Ignition get their groove on. With soulful vocals, funky grooves, house and breaks they delighted audiences at this year’s Splendour – Tipi Forest, went on tour with Good Buddha and are playing at the Big Day Out. At midnight Australia’s premier live breaks act, Soma Rasa will hit the stage. Renowned live electronic music innovators, Soma Rasa have supported Carl Cox, Moby & the Chemical Brothers and played at every Big Day Out since 1999. If you’re a hardcore dance freak you’ll be happy ‘til the early morning with breaks, electro, tech and house from a wicked selection of Byron DJs and special guest, Audun. Escape will also feature evocative performances throughout the night including aerial from Circus Arts, Elements stilt walkers, stage, podium shows and dance floor action from Belladonna, Kazie Chic-Hop Sienna Moon & Suzy Leigh.
