of Lakes Area Recreation is to provide recreation and leisure time activities in the broadest sense to all residents of School District #206, using school district, city, and township facilities and funding, along with private resources when available.
Lakes Area Recreation is a Joint Powers Agreement between School District #206, the City of Alexandria, and the townships of Alexandria and La Grand. Board meetings are the fourth Thursday of the month at the Douglas County Service Center.
