OUR STORY
True One of One Custom Vehicles
Our facility is over 40,000-square feet and growing with over 50 full-time ASE certified employees building the best award-winning E.C.D. Custom British Automobiles in the USA. Our founders grew up in England, the Midlands, some 40 miles from the famous Lode Lane Factory where the Legendary Land Rover Defender was produced. They were surrounded by Defenders from an early age and were Mostly driving around on friends farms with bales of hay, the family dog, or sometimes the occasional farm animal. We had to create the foundation, build it, and customize it from the ground up - regardless of the risk - if we wanted to produce the quality of build we ourselves dreamed of. We have a great blend of English owners and American staff, we have different views on how the perfect custom vehicle should be, but that truly is what makes our vehicles so special, and we challenge perfection on a daily basis.
Each and every one of our vehicles is custom built to your exact specifications. On the following pages you will see our model range and trim level for each of our vehicles. After selecting your model and trim level, you will undergo a full design phase with our team to tailor the vehicle to your precise aesthetic preference.

The ECD Custom is an unlimited design that you stamp your individual mark on. You, alongside our design team, will build this vehicle to your precise specification from top to bottom, inside out. As with everything ECD, performance and reliability is core, with our new generation 460hp GM LT1 engine and 8 speed automatic as standard.
The ECD signature is for those who want the absolute finest in terms of luxury and performance, but don’t have the time to design every feature themselves. An absolute top-level build, powered by ECD’s 650hp LT4 engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. Model highlights include a four Recaro seat setup, napa leather trim, air suspension, and panoramic roof as standard.

The ECD Retro is designed to pay homage to how the rrc left the Lode Lane factory, but with subtle enhancements and luxury touchpoints to bring it into the modern era. Performance and reliability are the foundation of the build, with our LC9 320HP V8 or Cummins R2.8 Diesel.
The ECD Custom is an unlimited design that you stamp your individual mark on. You, alongside our design team, will build this vehicle to your precise specification from top to bottom, inside out. As with everything ECD, performance and reliability is core, with our new generation 460hp GM LT1 engine and 8 speed automatic as standard.
The ECD signature is for those who want the absolute finest in terms of luxury and performance, but don’t have the time to design every feature themselves. An absolute top-level build, powered by ECD’s 650hp LT4 engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. Model highlights include a four Recaro seat setup, napa leather trim, air suspension, and panoramic roof as standard.
