Musicians are always on the go, travelling between concerts and projects and (sometimes, even) home. Every year at ENF they cross paths with friends and new faces, and sometimes that leads to other things – perhaps a new collaboration or experiment. Over the past few years, 2 of the world’s finest quartets – Belcea and Pavel Haas – and one of its greatest pianists – Elisabeth Leonskaja – have encountered each other, and this year they come together for a series of 5 concerts that are so special, you will find nothing like them elsewhere. Solo, quartet, quintet and octet – a treasure house of delights from the classics of chamber music performed by the ideal musicians.
