S taithe n Willow Staithe ’n’ Willow is a beautiful thatched building, beside the river Bure on the Norfolk Broads. The main building was built in 1695. In fine weather you can sit in the gardens and enjoy the view…Sundays’ are quite a spectacle on the river with the local sailing club racing along the Bure. This is a great place to stop, for refreshments, if you are cycling around the area.
We are set in a renovated 17th century timbered barn that was originally part of the old working farm. Licensed for up to 100 guests we cater as a private hire venue; weddings, birthdays, buffets, 2 and 3 course meals for any occasion you can think of. Along with our fully licenced bar and dance floor we are the perfect venue for any occasion. Throughout the year we run a series of Tribute evenings from a Buddy Holly night to a World War Two and Cockney night all of which include a 2 course meal included in the price.
