Sounds Green at Cambridge University The Cambridge Summer Music Festival brings four new exciting acts to the Botanic Garden’s July Wednesday late night openings this year. Pack your picnic blanket or chair, and enjoy the Sounds Green series - a relaxed, sociable picnic proms held in the garden. Guests can expect musical treats from the likes of Barokksolistene on 13 July, and Classico Latino on 20 July, who combine Latin America sounds with classical music. Music will begin at 6.15pm, and last one hour. The Café Garden will add to the atmosphere serving drinks which capture the spirit of each performance and a summer BBQ. In this contemporary take on one of opera’s most popular and unforgettable stories, director Lewis Reynolds has set the drama in a poorly furnished London flat, as four young artists struggle to live and love in challenging circumstances.
