ABOUT KATHY

Kathy employs over thirty years of expertise and experience with exceptional intuition to quickly and effectively analyse situations, understand dynamics and build resonance to effect change and development.

Kathy is a recognised author having published eight books with Penguin Publishing, she is also one of the country’s leading curriculum, teaching and learning experts in personalised learning.

Kathy is the designer of the first Australian personalised learning approach, Walker Learning which is being implemented in schools and early childhood communities across the world.

She founded the international organisation Early Life foundations which supports parents and educators across the world. She is the author of seven books for parents and educators and has written and presented extensively internationally.

Kathy outstanding contribution to education is demonstrated by being awarded an Order of Australia in 2015 and the recipient of many fellowships and awards.

Kathy works with parents and educators across the world. She is a respected author having published a collection of books for parents and educators.

Kathy lectured in Early Childhood at University and has worked as a consultant for over three decades. Kathy is an excellent public speaker/presenter renown for her ability to challenge, engage and inspire participants. Kathy has been the recipient of many awards across her career including an Order Of Australia. Her expertise sets staff up to succeed with practical ideas validated by research.

In these sessions, Kathy will engage you, inspire you, and focus your thoughts to enable a wonderful positive and proactive start to the year.

SEPARATION ANXIETY AND UNSETTLED BEHAVIOURS.

This session provides practical tips on how to work with children (or adults) who have trouble separating. It includes an overview of the typical causes of separation and how to foster attachment and trusting relationships with children. Strategies on how to respond to a distraught or unsettled child are also provided.
