We promised that we would report on the Spring Show held in March, as it was too late to get the article in last month’s edition.

Despite us reducing the number of classes that could be entered with exhibits, we had a better response than I expected, which was surprising considering the weather we had had in the earlier part of the year. We are pleased to report 16 people exhibited with a total of 86 exhibits.

On the day lots of people came to look at the exhibits and enjoy tea and cakes and applaud the trophy winners. As always, we thank all residents for supporting this annual event. Our Summer Show is on August 19th - details later.

In June we have decide to organise a coach trip to Wisley on 15th June. There are still spaces left, if you are interested. Steve, the OGA Secretary, is taking bookings and can give you all the details - his contact number is 07756463147.

For our 20th July meeting we are back in the hall from 7-30pm. Speaker is Geoff Hodge and the subject is Propagation of Plants for free. The members’ Competition is Summer Bedding
