When Prudential finally sold its Real Estate Affiliates subsidiary, Corine had the choice to relocate and continue her work, or try her hand at something new. She chose the latter. With her inside knowledge of real estate and her extraordinary corporate training, Corine knew she could provide a higher standard of service as a Realtor®. So, she reframed her identity from corporate executive to grass roots entrepreneur, obtained her real estate license, and spent the first few months of 2012 studying her market. She simultaneously began consulting to CEOs of large brokerages and helping them with strategic business decisions, a practice she continues today. “I decided right away that I wanted to excel in my industry. A real estate transaction is serious business, and I care about giving

people good value and professional representation.” Corine’s biggest challenge in real estate was developing relationships in her home community of North Tustin after so many years of corporate travel. In response to the challenge, she donned her most comfortable shoes and went out door-knocking for hours each day. “I wore my shoes down to nothing going up and down the hills around North Tustin. But I knew it was important to meet people and for them to know my name. Many of those people called me back years later and hired me because I had knocked on their door and met them face to face. I also like to participate in community activities whenever I can. You have to be passionate about what you sell, and I love where I live.”
