DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 5. Next, remove the front and back sling swivel nuts and push out the two assembly pins. 6. You will then be able to remove the front rail system and rear receiver cover. 7. Now pull up on the barrel and remove the upper assembly. Pay attention to where the barrel block is located on the front of the barrel for reassembly purposes. Next, remove the barrel block from the barrel. You now have the barrel and receiver group. 8. Now, to break down the upper assembly you must first remove the lock nut. This is a left hand thread. Then remove the gas regulator nut and spring. You will now see the gas ring. Pay extra attention to the gas ring when removing it. It is made with a small step on the bottom that fits into the gas block of the barrel; you will need to remember this for reassembly. There are two rings that come with the shotgun, one is for light loads and the other for heavy loads. 9. Finally, separate the barrel from the receiver group and remove the gas piston, action bar, bolt assembly, and action bar spring. Heavy loads: anything over 1300 FPS. Light loads: anything from 1200 FPS to 1300 FPS. Note: Some very light Trap or Skeet loads may not function properly. Gas Ring Markings: L. Loads = Light Loads, H. Loads = Heavy Loads WARNING: Your shotgun is shipped with the light load gas ring installed. Never use heavy loads with a light load ring or you may damage the gun or cause injury to the user.

THE SHOTGUN IS NOW FIELD STRIPPED.

As with most firearms, reassembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
