During Fruit of the Loom’s 150 years in manufacturing textiles we have witnessed some major advances in both fabric technology and quality. One of the most important of these being our introduction of Belcoro® accredited fabrics. Fabric quality is an important property of any imprint garment and fabric quality begins with the qualities of the cotton yarn the fabric is knitted from. In particular, the yarn will influence the fabric’s hand-feel and its printability. Thanks to a unique manufacturing process, we’re the only imprint brand that uses Belcoro® yarn. This has enabled us to set a new standard in softness and provide a clean, tight knit and uniform surface that provides a perfect ‘canvas’ for print. All our yarns are vigorously tested by renowned German company Schlafhorst. Only when they are awarded their independent mark of quality are they good enough for Fruit of the Loom.

In addition, open-end yarn saves over 6 million litres of diesel fuel, over 2 millions litres of herbicides and 35 million litres of fertilizer each year.
