Quantum Physicist Claims Science Can Prove Afterlife

The subject of life after death is often a firm favorite in discussions among friends, colleagues and even strangers. Where you stand on the matter often gives quite an insight into your beliefs, ideas and approach to life. Infact the matter of life after death doesn’t just determine how you die and where you head to next, but how you live your life here on Earth as well. Traditionally science and religion have taken opposing stands on the subject- religion promising us the rewards of a lifetime once we enter the pearly gates of eternity, while science taking a more pragmatic approach that marks the end of our journeys with the end of our flesh. The two have often been at loggerheads, and following in suit, so have many among us. But what happens when science begins to view us, as human beings, as more than just the body and flesh we inhabit. Does the end of our physical shell mark the end of our journeys, or do aspects of us survive even further on and beyond? Further, what happens when all that we understand about the world around us and our place in it is inverted into a new understanding and configuration? Does this new perspective rationalize the afterlife in a way that conventional scientific viewpoints just cannot negotiate? Professor Robert Lanza seems to be doing exactly that. The physicist at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Northern Carolina, takes a refreshingly different approach to the our being, bodies, the universe, life, and therefore death. Expounding the wisdom and insight on offer in quantum physics, specifically the theory of Biocentrism, Lanza claims science can indeed prove the existence of an afterlife. Infact he considers it a natural extension of the theory and the point of view it affords us. The key, he says, lies in redefining how we view our whole worlds, and therefore the notion of death and our experience of it.

Allow me to elucidate. Biocentrism argues that contrary to conventional approaches that explore how life is created in the universe, in reality quantum physics shows us the life itself creates the universe around it. The universe only exists as an extension of our consciousness, and is colored by how we perceive and think about it. It is therefore our own thoughts and beliefs that give form to the experiences we encounter, including death. In reality, if we see the universe as a figment of our consciousness we understand how death too is of a similar fashion. We experience what we have been taught and led to believe about death, over and over again, one person after another. But while the universe around us may morph and shift in alignment with our consciousness, our consciousness itself does not cease to exist. And therefore afterlife stands as more than just a remote probability. Lanza argues that biocentrism may require a massive leap of understanding in how we perceive the dimensions of space and time, but once made we can unlock the secrets that have miffed and baffled science for ages.
