Remember loved ones at our Light Up a Life Service
Light Up a Life offers a special opportunity to come together to remember those dear who are no longer with us. To gather with family and friends to celebrate their lives and share fond memories. This year we are thrilled to be hosting the first Light Up a Life service at the hospice as well as numerous satellite services within our local community.
St Kentigern Hospice invites you to take part in our Light up a Life Services with brass bands, carols and mince pies.
‘The festive period is a time of celebration, but it can also be a difficult time of year when you are parted from your loved one. The Light up a Life appeal gives people who have lost loved ones the opportunity to come together and remember them. As a Hospice, we know that grief can be a very private process, but also that coming together at a service like Light Up a Life can be very supportive, reflective and unite us in our memories’ – Sian Golding, Fundraiser at St Kentigern Hospice
This year St Kentigern Hospice are honoured to invite you to join them for the first Light Up a Life service taking place at St Kentigern Hospice, St Asaph on Thursday 30th November at 5pm. The evening will feature stories and readings from families and those close to the hospice as well as carols by Fairholme Preparatory School. Hot drinks and mince pies will be available to keep you warm in the winter air. Standing proud in front of the hospice will be a remembrance tree which will be lit during the service each light representing a loved one who is no longer with us. Please note this is an outdoor event and due to the number of guests expected on the night, seating will be limited to those who are unable to stand for the duration of the service.
