Class of 2010 Laura Mann

Greatest Goal Keeper in DVC Women’s Soccer history. Earned All-Bay Valley Conference and All-NorCal honors in 2000 & 2001. BVC Defensive Most Valuable Player in 2001; recording eight shut-outs in fifteen games. Defensive MVP for Nighthawks (semi-pro soccer league) in 2002. Earned B.S. degree in Industrial Psychology. Becomes first ever Women’s Soccer player inducted in DVC’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

Cesar Medina

DVC Baseball star third baseman in 1989 and 1990. First ever NorCal Big Stick winner from DVC in 1989. In 1989, led State in Hits (79), earning 1st Team All-Golden Gate Conference and All-American honors. Set All-Time DVC record for Conference Batting Average (.474) leading DVC to GGC Conference title. Two year DVC career, Batting Average of .376. Transfer to Sonoma State (1991 and 1992), set school record for Doubles. Senior year named 1992 NCAC Player of the Year. Selected to DVC’s All-Half Century Baseball Team.
