KEEPING NQ ABREAST OF THE TIMES A FREE ONE-DAY BREAST CANCER CONFERENCE 4 May 8.30am–4.30pm Riverway Arts Centre Thuringowa Central Hosted by Dragons Abreast Townsville Inc. (DATi) and endorsed by Cancer Council Queensland and Breast Cancer Network Australia To provide women and men of North Queensland, survivors of breast cancer and people currently undergoing treatment for metastatic breast cancer with an opportunity to hear leading authorities in Australia speak on breast cancer treatment and care; current research and other areas of interest, without the expense of travelling to a capital city; and also an occasion for people to meet and share their experiences with other survivors. Their support network of family and friends, as well as Health Care Professionals associated with breast cancer are also invited to attend.
