Activate your career with TAFE Got the skills and need the paper to prove it? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means you can gain credit towards part or all of a qualification by demonstrating how your current skills, knowledge and experience meet the learning outcomes of the qualification. If you have never formally studied or trained in a particular area, RPL could provide you with a full or part qualification. RPL can also be used to identify gap training you may need to complete the qualification.
Pathways to further study With TAFE, you can increase your chances of qualifying for further tertiary study and gain credit for existing study. Many TAFE courses lead to higher level studies at TAFE or university, and in some cases provide credit transfer to reduce the time it takes to complete a diploma or a degree.
