The Saturday auction opens with a unique Mexican Modernist sterling tea and coffee set by Tango Aceves. Following are a charming pair of silver plate candlesticks by Salvador Dali, and sterling flatware by Wallace, Gorham, Towle, and Lunt. A rare set of 12 Steuben gold Aurene goblets and Steuben ‘verre de soie’ tableware; a wonderful Duffner & Kimberly lamp shade paired with a Handel base; numerous small collections of sterling silver serving bowls, flatware, candelabra, and other small collecting pieces. Glittering estate jewelry includes a Mexican turquoise and sterling necklace; a 12 carat opal bangle bracelet; ruby, sapphire, emerald, and diamond rings and bracelets; and over ten lots of David Yurman jewelry. Art glass by Steuben, Lalique, Baccarat, and Moser; Staffordshire pottery sets of spaniels; Royal Doulton figurines; and an assortment of colorful Chinese snuff bottles.
