Destinctive brass frame with a round barrel marked "Winchester's Repeating Arms New Haven CT. King's Improvement Patented March 2_ 1866 October 16 1880". Full length magazine under the barrel. Having a saddle ring, notched front sight and adjustable rear sight.

WINCHESTER MODEL 1897 PUMP ACTION TRENCH SHOTGUN, 12. GA., 1920, L 19 1/2" BARREL, SN 678272, INCLUDES ADDITIONAL HEAT SHIELD AND BAYONET Serial number 678272 dates this shotgun to 1920. Barrel is stamped "CYL", "PW" in a circle. Pump arm is stamped "Model 1897 Winchester Trade Mark Reg. in U.S. Pat. Off.". Wood stock is stamped 424 and the receiver is stamped "US" above a flaming bomb. Having a leather strap. This lot includes an additional heat shield as well as an M1905 bayonet having a 16" blade. This bayonet is stamped "RIA 1910" and "US 185573". The leather bayonet scabbard is stamped R.I.A. 1907 J.E.N. and R.I.A. 1921.

The wood stock is also stamped with the crown over E.I.G.. Having a side saddle ring, fixed notch rear sight, swivel ramrod, brass butt plate and trigger guard. The accompanying pistol is stamped "1858 Tower", any other stamps are no longer visible. Having a fixed notch rear sight, swivel ramrod, brass trigger guard and butt plate with lanyard ring.
