The pistol has all matching serial numbers (10245, manufactured 1852) and has a naval engagement engraved on the cylinder. Stamped "Address Saml Colt New York City" on top of the barrel with brass bead sight, octagonal barrel, brass trigger guard and wood grip.

COLT MODEL 1849 SIX SHOT POCKET PISTOL, .31 CAL., 1862, L 4" BARREL, SN 218136, INCLUDES FITTED CASE, BULLET MOLD AND POWDER FLASK All matching serial numbers of 218136 (Manufacture date of 1862), the barrel wedge assembly does not appear to be marked, but looks to be original. Stamped "Address CCL Saml Colt New-York US America" on top of the octagonal barrel. Brass trigger guard is stamped "R". Having a notched hammer rear sight with wood pistol grips. Overall length is 9". This lot includes a velvet-lined fitted case, tin powder flask, dual-cavity bullet mold for both connical and round shot and a small box of eight percussion caps (age or working order unknown).

Manufactured in 1863, matching serial numbers (92355) on all parts except the cylinder which is marked 8822. "Address Col. Sam Colt New-York U.S. America" stamped on the top of the barrel.

SMITH & WESSON DOUBLE ACTION FRONTIER REVOLVER, ,44-40, C. 1880S, L 5" BARREL, "DEXTER S. GASTER CHIEF OF POLICE...", SN 5742 Engraving on the back of the grip reads "To Dexter S. Gaster Chief of Police New Orleans La. from Comm Beanham". Dexter Sidney Gaster was an Ohio native and Civil War veteran that achieved the rank of Sergeant. After the war, he lived in New Orleans and joined the police force where he moved up the ranks to become Superintendent of Police. His pistol is a six-shot, double-action, top break Smith & Wesson frontier revolver manufactured in the 1880s. Having a notch rear sight with a front blade sight. The top of the barrel rib is marked "Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass." with patent dates. Having checked hard rubber grips with the Smith & Wesson logo. Butt and cylinder are stamped 5742. Includes soft leather carrying case.

Having mother of pearl grips. Two line marking on the top of the barrel rib reads "E. Remington & Sons Ilion N.Y. Elliot's Patent Dec 12th 1865". Tip-up over-under design with a manual ejector on the left hand of the frame. Serial number 292 marked on barrel and frame. Includes shadowbox display with playing cards, two bullets, dice, a poker chip and a hand written note. Cade size: 12" x 12" with a 3" depth.

Stamp on top of the reciever is worn but "Spencer ____ Rifle Co. B____" is visible, patent date is also worn. This would read Spencer Repeating Rife Co. Boston Mass.. No other visible markings to the metal or wood stock. Having a metal blade front sight with an 800 yard adjustable rear sight. Saddle ring and spring loaded magazine tube in the butt stock.
