Home and garden tour

The Duluth Woman's Club is hosting their 52nd Annual Tour of Homes and Gardens on Wednesday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a day-long, self-guided event, showcasing some of Duluth's most outstanding and prominent homes and gardens. Enjoy lunch at the historical home of the Duluth Woman's Club, 2400 E. Superior St. Tickets and tour maps, with directions and information about each home and garden, will be emailed if registering online. Tickets and maps will be available for pick up beginning July 12 (July 15, 16 for phone registrations). Ticket sales begin June 3. $35 per person, which includes lunch. Bayfront Reggae & World Music Festival

Playwright Neil Simon got his first big break in the early 1950s as a staff writer on Sid Caesar’s fabled television series Your Show of Shows, and this comedy takes a fictionalized look at the backstage chaos that went into producing one of the landmarks of television’s golden age.
