DAY BY DAY ITINERARY: DAY 1, WED – USA:

Depart USA for an overnight flight to Istanbul. Full service on board. DAY 2, THU – ISTANBUL:

Arrive in Istanbul. You will be met by a Homeric Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)

DAY 8, WED – RHODES:

Arrive in Rhodes where you will spend a full day. Take an optional excursion of the city of Rhodes and the Acropolis of Lindos to visit the Temple of Athena. (B,L,D) DAY 9, THU – HERAKLION / SANTORINI:

DAY 3, FRI – ISTANBUL:

After breakfast board the motor coach for your full day tour of Istanbul. Visits include St. Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Turkish and Islamic Art Museums, Hippodrome and Grande Bazaar. Lunch included. Evening at leisure. (B,L) DAY 4, SAT – ISTANBUL:

Transfer to the pier and board on your cruise ship, where you will spend your night. Tonight enjoy dinner and entertainment on board. (B,D) DAY 5, SUN – ISTANBUL / AT SEA:

Today enjoy shipboard activities and meals or take the time to explore Istanbul before departure. (B,L,D) DAY 6, MON – MYKONOS:

Arrive in Mykonos, where you can enjoy a funfilled afternoon and evening. Walk the cobblestone streets, visit the many shops, enjoy a drink while taking in the view of the ocean or enjoy dinner at a local taverna. (B,L,D) DAY 7, TUE – PATMOS / KUSADASI:

Arrive in Patmos and take an optional excursion to the Monastery and Cave where John the

Arrival in Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Take an optional excursion to the Palace of King Minos at Knossos and the museum. Sail on to Santorini, where you may take an optional excursion to the excavation site at Akrotiri where recent Minoan excavations support the theories that Santorini might be the fabled continent of Atlantis. (B,L,D) DAY 10, FRI – PIRAEUS / ATHENS:

Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the hotel in Athens. Spend the day at leisure or explore this fascinating city on your own. (B) DAY 11, SAT – ATHENS:

Begin the morning with the Athens city tour. Visits include the Acropolis and its museum, Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Temple of Olympian Zeus and much more. Return to your hotel in the early afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure. (B) DAY 12, SUN – ATHENS / USA:
