Viscometer Measurement
Step 2: Select Viscometer Loading Step 3: Enable Position Step 4: Enter Sample Name Step 5: Enter description (optional field) Step 6: Select Solvent result from pull down list
Step 7: Charge the viscometer with sample
At this stage the sample should be added to the filling station.
Unscrew the filling station cap and carefully pour the sample into the filling station funnel.
After filling ensure that the sample volume is above the minimum fill mark.
On completion of charging the viscometer:
Step 8: Replace the filling station cap and tick Sample Loaded and Filling Station Capped.
Note: Clean after measurement is optional (and can also be pre-set in the Viscometer database)
Notes:
Once a position is enabled the following happens:
a) CAP and AIR valves are opened ready for sample introduction
b) The Concentration, Method and Viscometer are pre-assigned
c) The Solvent value is selected from the pull-down list (note the most recent value will be used as default)
Start Measurement When Start Measurement is selected the user will be
taken automatically to the Home Page
