After pressing “START MEASUREMENT” the software will automatically open the Home page. The first stage of the test cycle is to check the bath stability – this will be followed by the equilibrium period (as set in the method) followed by the sample push up. Flow times will be measured and final results will be reported.

Abort

On the Home page there is also an Abort button

The user can go back and forth between Viscometer Measurement (Loading) and Home page – there is an Abort button on both pages.

The Abort button is activated when a sample is being tested i.e. after the start measurement has been activated.

On Completion of a test, the status will return to Ready. In this case the “Abort” button will not be accessible i.e. greyed out.

If for whatever reason, the viscometer is not physically ready e.g. requires a user activated clean, this option will be available.

Also, by returning to the Viscometer measurement page, enabling a position will open and the C and A valves.
