Safety

The RPV-3 software is intended to be used in a laboratory by trained technical personnel. For safe and correct use, both operating and service personnel should follow the instructions contained in the USER MANUALS for all parts of the system, including the Temperature Controlled Bath, Viscometer Control Module as well as this Software Operating Manual. The following safety precautions must be observed during all phases of installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of the instrument. Failure to comply with these precautions, or with specific warnings elsewhere in the USER MANUAL violates safety standards of design, manufacture, and intended use of the instrument. Poulten Selfe & Lee Ltd assumes no liability for the customer’s failure to comply with these requirements.

Risk Assessment

This manual provides guidance on the safe operation of the RPV-3 software, however, the user should carry out their own full Risk Assessment. The following notices may appear in this manual:
