Latest news from AIESEC Global Citizen English Speaking Contest Global citizen English Speaking Contest hosted by Global Citizen project of AIESEC FTU HN aims to equip young generation at high school age with knowledge about global issues, cultural understanding , communicating, debating and English speaking skills. With the main sponsorship from Enci English Centre, the 3 most excellent teams namely : Equal team from Chuyen Su pham high school, The AO class from Luong The Vinh high school and CL from Chuyen Ngoai Ngu high school competed against each other in the final night. The first prize was awarded to the AO Class who was outstanding in global knowledge and persuasive debating clauses winning the prize up to 6,000,000 scholarship and 2,000,000 VND , followed by the Equal team with comprehensive, innovative presentation being rewarded with 4,000,000 scholarship and 1,500,000VND, CL team ranked the third with a scholarship of 2,000,000 and 1,000,000 VND. This contest does make strong impact on the mindset of high school students about world issues and lay foundation for their potential development in later time.
AIESEC Vietnam 5 Year Anniversary AIESEC Vietnam was first set up in Hochiminh city on November 24th 2006. And AIESEC in Foreign Trade University was established in April 1st 2009. After 5 years, AIESEC has now presented in almost every region in Vietnam, involving approximately 500 students of 40 universities nationwide. AIESEC Vietnam has successfully provided young people platforms to discover the potentials by giving you hundreds of exchanges and thousands of leadership opportunities . 5 year is not long period of time for an organization but it is significant to put an strong background on AIESEC VIETNAM in long road of exploring and developing Vietnamese youth’s potential leadership.
