W
hen you’re a heavily sought after producer, the music world is your oyster. Swizz Beatz is one of those producers and his discography of smash hits proves it. He’s worked with practically everyone in the business, including Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Snoop, Jay-Z, Ja Rule, Nas and so many more top artists. In 2002, the Bronx native stepped up in front of the mic and unleashed his first album, Swizz Beatz Presents: G.H.E.T.T.O. Stories. And as a man as unique in talent as Swizz, his rides have to be just as one-of-a-kind, which is why we showcased his collection back in Issue 18,
which then, consisted of the ultra-luxurious Maybach 62, 2004 Shelby Series 1 and 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo. As the ultimate statement in luxury, the MaybachMotorenbau’s double-M symbol was his coupe de ride. A bespoke ride specially made for each client, the Maybach was already perfect coming off the production lines, and only needed a set of 22” Lowenhart LDR wheels with Pirelli 295/45R22 tires from Unique Autosports. His Shelby was, and still is, a rare ride, adding to the inherent exclusivity of a Shelby and a sign of his taste for collectible automobiles. Although not the first supercar you think of, the Shelby Series 1 does 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and is the perfect balance of straight line performance and cornering prowess that makes even Ferrari drivers envious. Since Swizz has always been a Lamborghini fan, it made sense that he’d opt to be one of the first to take delivery of the then new Lamborghini Gallardo. Whether he’s driving or being driven, Swizz Beatz always makes sure it’s done right!
