President’s Message

Dear Dublin Chamber Members, Summer is on its way, and with it come some of our favorite Chamber events. There are a lot of dates on the Chamber calendar to look forward to, and we’re gearing up for them now, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to meet both new and longtime members of the Dublin business community. What are we excited about?

• The Dublin Chamber 18-Hole Golf Classic, coming up July 15 at The Club at Tartan Fields. See the article just to the right to get information on how to sign up. Make sure you register soon!

• Upcoming Women in Business Luncheons, including one with Hollis Mignogno and Rochelle Bailey on May 15, and one featuring Dr. Whitney Raglin Bignall on Sept. 25.

• The iCare … iServe … iLead Youth Leadership Program, teaching local students about volunteering and community engagement July 22-26.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention Community Service Day, which is right around the corner on May 4. This is a highly inspirational event that brings together volunteers from throughout the community to help older adults, residents in need, community nonprofits and Dublin City Schools with spring clean-up and other outdoor projects. If you want to help out, you can still sign up at DublinChamber.org/CSD24. We hope we get a chance to see you at some of these great events — as well as some of Dublin’s signature summer events, such as the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday and Dublin Irish Festival. We’ll see you soon!

Corporate Charity Cup

One of the Chamber’s biggest events is right around the corner

With the Dublin Chamber Corporate Charity Cup coming up in mid-June, the field of teams is set, and we hope all participating businesses are gearing up for two days of fitness, camaraderie and friendly competition.

We at the Chamber are enormously appreciative of everyone who has signed up for one of our largest annual events. Dublin’s Corporate Charity Cup is special to us because it raises crucial funds for area charities chosen by the top three teams in each division, providing a great opportunity to support organizations doing important work in and around Dublin.

We also look forward to the Corporate Charity Cup every year because it presents participating businesses with a chance to promote employee wellness and community involvement – and, of course, to earn bragging rights! And on top of that, it provides employees at area businesses an opportunity to meet and enjoy one another’s company, which is always a top priority for the Chamber.

We’re glad to have such a dedicated field of participating Dublin businesses competing in this year’s event, and we’re excited to see everyone on June 20 and 21!
