DBS Student Services and Facilities DBS Library Service – Introduction DBS Library is a large online library which can be accessed via the Library Website: (library.dbs.ie). The online library contains:     

Access to your online reading list (lorls.dbs.ie) 56,000 e-journals Over 1,800 eBooks an extensive portfolio of online databases High quality student theses/assignments and faculty research can be accessed at esource.dbs.ie  Over 200 eBooks via Library Kindles which can be borrowed The Library Catalogue, the Library’s e-book collection and EBSCO databases can also be searched on handheld devices such as iPhones. DBS Library also comprises two physical spaces: the Main Library at Aungier Street and the Study Hub in Bow Lane (2nd and 3rd floors). A code is required to access the study hub in Bow Lane (code 9214). The Main Library provides access to Library’s print and audio-visual collections (50,000 books and 1800 DVDs); the Library’s main Information/Support desk and seating for quiet study. To find out what books the Library holds or where your core or supplementary textbooks are located go to: http://koha.dbs.ie/. The 2nd floor of the Bow Lane Building is an informal collaborative Library space where you can obtain additional assistance from the Information Skills Librarian and Research Librarian. The 3rd floor contains some additional seating for quiet study. Maps indicating Library locations are located on the Library Website (library.dbs.ie).
