Wellington’s Cameron Park has been described as one of the prettiest parks in New South Wales, offering you shady trees to relax under and wile away the day, stroll along the banks of the river or just enjoy the peace and quiet in the well-maintained gardens. Dubbo’s picturesque Victoria Park is a popular gathering place for locals. Located in the heart of the City, it features several play areas including Livvi’s Place which caters for children of all ages and abilities. Many other parks dot our region, including several dog friendly and leash-free areas for your four legged friends! Experience a taste of Japanese culture in Dubbo’s Shoyoen Gardens and Wellington’s Osawano Gardens, both feature tranquil waterways, stunning flowers and plants native to Japan. If you are looking to explore the great outdoors there is no better place than your new home. With opportunities for bushwalking and bird watching on our peaceful reserves, gentle strolls along the fertile riverbanks or even the popular Dubbo Parkrun for the fitness enthusiast. If you are a keen cyclist the Dubbo Region has you covered, with well-maintained cycleways in both Dubbo and Wellington or for the more adventurous among us there are downhill mountain bike tracks throughout the Mount Arthur Reserve. Our region’s waterways are plentiful and peaceful, with winding river trails offering the perfect escape to wile away an afternoon as you explore by canoe or kayak.
