Flirty fashions for Spring Turn to spring fashions for renewed zest and optimism and indulge in the bright, happy fashions of the day. Cool, crisp weather continues to keep us feeling fresh and flirty and the brand-new spring fashion trends that are replacing winter’s furs and knits, are delish to say the least. From cheerful colour-blocking and bold statement hues to in-your-face prints that were mismatched to perfection-spring trends take the ante up a notch and come full circle once more, with the return of bright, happy fashions.

Whimsical Whites & Natural Neutrals The abundance of delicate whites & minimalistic neutrals that graced the catwalks is a clear indication of the trend’s “bigness” factor. The all-white romantic styles, often in girlish broderie anglaise, lace and other demure fabrics were quite a relief after winter’s gorgeous but now tiring heavy knits and sombre palettes. Many designers showed their partiality towards smart tailoring and the coolness of crisp cottons, for a modern take on minimalism. This cool, sometimes clinical, but brilliant style appeared on catwalks everywhere.
