about the spate of attack on innocent citizens of Nigeria by the Boko Haram sect, an Ekiti born, United State of America (USA)-based Nigerian, Mr. Charles Oribamise, has called on the government to intensify the battle against the sect by using education, which they (the sect) hate most. Oribamise in a telephone
chat with our correspondent, on Thursday, said the ignorance of the Boko Haram sect about education needed to be removed once and for all from Nigeria in spite of the successes recorded by the military against them. He advised the Federal Government to embark on a modelled marshal plan to transform the north-east which is the stronghold of Boko Haram. âThe enduring weapon should be edu-
cating the teeming youth that has fallen prey to the ugly doctrine of Boko Haram after the battle must have be won,â Oribamise stressed. He added that all indigenes in the country should be ready to contribute for the children ravaged in the north-east so that they could get back on track. According to him, youngsters in the region should be made to be aware that the government cares for
them and willing to give them a chance to succeed. âThe moment we build a patriotic fervor in our childrenâs mind, it will be very hard if not impossible for sects, like Boko Haram, to hijack them from the wheel of progress. Oribamise praised Buhari on his stand on the rescue of the Chibok girls alive and called on Nigerians to have a positive mind towards making Nigeria great again.
