The firm was originally established in the 1950’s by Eduardo Lacerda Machado and later joined by his son Rui Lacerda Machado in 1976 and more recently by grandson Diogo Lacerda Machado, who is currently executive director of RDLM since 2014. This rich heritage and family tradition have proudly been passed down over three generations of architectural lineage.

Diogo Lacerda and a group of young, professional architects, all trained at the best Architectural institutions in Portugal, now form the RDLM team, based in Lisbon, Portugal, Greece and soon to be in Mozambique and Angola.

Under CEO Diogo Lacerda’s leadership, and mentoring the dynamic practice is driven by a combined passion that continually strives to uphold the family name and integrity while delivering workmanship of the highest excellence and contemporary and forward-thinking designs and solutions.
