“If John Steinbeck owned a speakeasy, Hillfolk Noir would be the house band” Seattle Weekly Hailing from Idaho, and fronted by singersongwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Ward, Hillfolk Noir’s peculiar take on traditional acoustic mountain music is filtered through a half-century of folk, country and rock ‘n’ roll and fed by an affinity for medicine show culture and Depression-era stringband blues. Stick It On is turning a number of its monthly Saturday nights into fundraising events for charities and good causes. Therefore, anyone who wishes to use the night to raise money can contact SIO HQ and apply to use them as a fundraising vehicle.
