UIC new school of architecture our ideas for a new architecture building on the UIC campus stem primarily from the needs expressed by students. It was clear that the existing conditions were seen as "dark and decrepit" and there was a notion that the ‘new’ facility needs a greater relation to the site and surrounding buildings.
