Drew Kane

I am an urban designer and planner. My professional focus has been on the regeneration of urban environments in the US and abroad. My interests range in scale from the everyday use of urban spaces to the fundamental role of infrastructure in the city’s form. Currently, I am the Senior City Planner at the City of Cambridge Community Development Department. Prior to this, I was an Senior Urban Planner/Designer and Associate at Utile, Inc. Additionally, I have worked as an Associate with Chan Krieger NBBJ, an architecture and urban design firm based in Boston. Before my move to New England I was with the international planning and landscape architecture firm EDAW in Atlanta. I received a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s of Art in Art History from the University of Georgia.
