For the past 33 summers, we have offered an opportunity for at our camp. We challenge you to improve your basketball skills, to learn more about the game, and to discover exactly what it takes to become a better basketball player. We have an outstanding camp staff that is knowledgeable and eager to help develop your game, along with making sure you have fun. I hope you will join our Lady Vol family this summer in Knoxville. I guarantee that it will be a great experience.

This summer, the Pat Head Summitt Basketball Camp will be utilizing state-of-the-art training facilities at the Pratt Pavilion, adjacent to Thompson-Boling Arena. Pratt is the new multi-million dollar practice facility on the UT campus. Additional training sites include: Thompson-Boling Arena, home of the Lady Vols and Vol basketball teams, as well as the HPER Building and the T-Rec Center. Off-campus training facilities will also be utilized by the camp.
Linens, pillows, towels, toiletries, playing clothes, an alarm clock and athletic tape (if needed). We require you to wear basketball shoes.

Location:
The Pat Head Summitt Camp is held at the University of Tennessee, located in Knoxville just off I-40 and I-75.
(When applicable) Modern, air-conditioned UT dormitory suites will house the campers. Twenty-four-hour supervision in the dorm is provided. Campers will be served meals which offer a variety of choices.

Team Camps
Day Camp Rates, Information & Requirements $165 covers the entire cost of instruction and insurance. Each camper will also receive a camp T-Shirt and a Wilson basketball. Each camper must be between the ages of 6 and 12 years old. We are offering two daily sessions (a.m. or p.m.) for day camp. First session will be from 8:00 a.m. until noon. The second session will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Due to the timing schedule for Day Camp, no meals will be provided. (No Personal checks)

The Elite Camp is designed for the serious-minded player who aspires to reach their highest potential. It is a very intense instructional camp designed to challenge all players to raise their game to the next level. Prior camp experience is strongly recommended. Each camper will learn fundamental skills at their particular positions. Please note that campers should be at least 14 years old. (No Personal checks)

Confirmation/Transportation: A confirmation for camp and a travel arrangement form will be mailed to you within 15 working days of receipt of your deposit. Please do not make travel arrangements prior to receiving written confirmation that you have been accepted to camp. Please wait for a travel form before making any travel arrangements! You must depart the last day of camp.
Campers must be 10 years old prior to the start of camp and not older than a rising high school senior. No commuters allowed! Campers must stay in the dorm. (No Personal checks)
Weight
The Campers: The camp attracts players of all abilities and ages from all over the United States and often abroad. Last year, the 2009 camp included players from 40 states.
We place a tremendous amount of emphasis on the fundamental development of each position. The offensive, defensive, and shooting instruction you are taught can be put into practice during two or three games per day. The entire Lady Vol coaching staff, along with several current and former Lady Vol players, will work with you on your game.

Athletic Trainers: Certified Athletic Trainers will be on staff to prevent and treat athletic injuries. A parental consent form will be mailed to you upon receipt of application and deposit.

Overnight Camp Rates, Information & Requirements $450 covers the entire cost of instruction, insurance, meals and lodging (and a $430 rate is offered for UT Faculty/Staff employees and teams with 7 or more players). Please note: team applications must be mailed in together to get the team rate. In the Overnight camp, you do not play together as a team. Team camp (June 9-11) is the only opportunity to play with your team. Each camper will also receive a camp T-shirt and a Wilson basketball. The overnight camp will feature a full day of basketball activity. The camp will be divided by both age and ability so every camper can compete up to her greatest potential. Individual instruction will be provided for each camper at her position. We also have a 10 to 1 camper-to-coach ratio. Our primary goal is to help each camper improve her skills.

Team Camp
Team Camp Rates, Information and Requirements $245 Campus resident fee and $205 commuter fee. Each member of the team will receive a camp shirt. The three-day camp will be for middle school, high school (Varsity and Junior Varsity) and AAU teams. Each team will play 6 games at similar levels of competition. Each head coach is responsible for coaching and coordinating his/her team’s applications. (No Personal checks)
