Souvenir Collectibles To commemorate your Dragon*Con experience, we have designed a number of souvenir collectibles that are available at the Dragon*Con Store located in Registration Booth #2 on the Marquis Level at the Atlanta Marriott Marqius. We also have a satellite location in the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, where we will be selling t-shirts and lanyards only. We strive to present fine fantasy illustrations on our souvenir t-shirts. Shirts from previous years featured the work of such notable artists as Roger Dean, Arthur Suydam, Olivia DeBerardinis, Rowena, Jim Steranko, Dave Stevens, Joseph Michael Linsner and Derek Yaniger. Our Dragon*Con 2011 T-shirt features original artwork by the legendary fantasy artist Boris Vallejo. They are available in adult sizes (S–XL @ $18; 2XL, 3XL @ $20) and the ever popular “baby doll” style (all sizes $18).
New this year! We will be selling a limited edition zip up hoodie and military style cap embroidered with our 25th anniversary logo.
Our children’s t-shirts are back! Featuring the fantastic art of Bobby Chiu, they will be available in limited quantities of children’s sizes. Dragon*Con 2011 Commemorative Poster: We produce a limited number of lithographs to commemorate each convention year. The 2011 lithograph features the stunning artwork of award winning illustrator Michael Whelan and are available at the convention for $20. Additional prints from past years feature original artwork by Tara McPherson, Steve Hickman, Joseph Michael Linsner, Larry Elmore, Arthur Suydam, Alex Grey, Syd Mead, Yoshitako Amano, Stephen Youll, Roger Dean, Tom Canty, Keith Parkinson, Bob Eggleton, Alan M. Clark, Tim and Greg Hildebrandt, Jim Steranko, Charles Vess, and a special six-artist composite poster with Jeff Jones, Jon Muth, Kent Williams, George Pratt, Walt Simonson, Dave McKean and Donato Giancola. Limited lithographs remain in our inventory and are available for purchase.
Our Dragon*Con logo was originally designed by Atlanta artist Stan Bruns over two decades ago. Dinosaur illustrator William Stout updated it, rendering it in brilliant color (with a touch of computer magic by artist David Robinson). Stainless Steel Travel mugs and Water Bottles are available this year, and look for our newly redesigned logo’d lanyards, which will be available exclusively at both Dragon*Con Store locations. Pendants and key chains: We have an extra-heavy brushed pewter design for our pendants and key chains, as well as pendants hand cast in pure sterling silver. You’ll also see our logo embroidered in both gold and green on baseball caps. You’ll also find it emblazoned on travel clocks, mouse pads and a host of merchandise, including duffle bags and luggage tags, key chains, refrigerator magnets, and Christmas ornaments. We’ve added new coffee mugs to our inventory this year and Dragon*Con logo’d wine glasses are available. Why not advertise your fan status every time you get in the car with window flags featuring the Dragon*Con logo? Also available are two auto window stickers featuring a die cut logo, as well as a simpler printed logo. Memberships for Dragon*Con 2012 (at the lowest rate available all year), as well as DVD’s from previous years will be available in the main store location.
