The aviation industry is back at AEA Europe Connect
by Drabpol
After a pandemic hiatus of more than one year, general aviation industry specialists returned to Cologne for the AEA Europe Connect conference.
The European AEA Convention is a great opportunity to learn about the latest regulations, and to exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of problem solving or discuss joint projects.

Traditionally, the AEA convention cannot miss the presentation of new avionics by leading manufacturers of this equipment. An inseparable element of the conference is also training, both technical and commercial, organized by the above-mentioned producers.
Our company has been participating in the European Convention for many years. So we could not miss the conference in Cologne. On the first day, we took part in a presentation organized by our partner, Bendix King. The new Bendix King CEO, Mr. Tom Neumann, presented the current directions of business development, including new products such as the AeroCruze 100 autopilot for Cessna and Piper aircraft and the AeroCorder flight data recorder, as well as topics related to the pandemic situation and the COVID19 impact for the industry.
The second day of the AEA convention was dedicated to dealer train-- ng. For our part, we participated in a training organized by GENESYS Aerosystems (former S-TEC), which presented new solutions supporting aviation electronics engineers. Among other things, it was discussed a selection and a replacement of certain components of the autopilot system.
Mr. Jesse Beard (Field Service Engineer), with his enormous operational experience, pointed out how to quickly and accurately do what is expected of us. Air carriers expect us to quickly service their aircraft. Such trainings, in which we had the pleasure to participate, are extremely helpful for our company.
The next meeting of aviation industry experts will be held next year during the AEA Convention in the USA.
