Bioactive Surface BioactiveÂŽ is a composite of two thin microcrystalline CaP phases (brushite) promotes short term bone synthesis, whereas the inner phase (microcrystalline hydroxyapatite) is resorbed more slowly and releases ions over a relatively long period. This promotes bone formation. The coordinated bioactivity of these two phases greatly improves the healing process and fosters long-term implant tolerability. The closely packed and almost perpendicular CaP crystals offer a large,open implant surface with a potent capillary effect on blood, for the adsorption of growth factors and for the attachment of bone cells. The BioactiveÂŽ coating process modifies the properties of the implant surface but has no effect on the chemical and physical properties or the biomechanical functionality of the implant material itself.

Bioactive is a completely resorbable, fixed adhesive calcium-phosphate coating which is obtained in an electrochemical process on the implant surface. the CaP crystallites are fixed to the implant surface in the shape of platelets or pins nearly in vertical alignment. This bioactive Ossteoconductive surface contributes to an improvement of the biocompatibility of implants thanks to the morphological and chemical properties.

SLA Surface The surface roughness and micro-geometry of titanium is achieved by a complex process of multistage blasting large particles and double acid-etching. This surface treatment increases the implant's surface area, by creating both micro and nano-structure for increasing bone formation and stronger bone-to-implant bonding. A larger surface area increases bone to-implant contact (BIC), enabling intense absorption of blood and plasma proteins directly into the implant porous surface immediately after implant is placed. The micro mechanical fixation increases the stability of the implant. The surface roughness over the entire body, together with the high level of surface morphology prevents bone resorption at the implant`s neck. Porous surface increases early bone to implant contact by influencing the dynamic wettability of implant porous surface during the initial contact with the host.
