Timothy D. Brieger led the St. Edward (Ill.) GreenWave girls soccer team to the state finals and a fifth-place finish at the end of the 2008 spring season. St. Edward’s GreenWave girls team was the first soccer team – boys or girls – to play in the state competition from the Elgin, Ill., area. Susan won in the Feature News Re- Susan M. Dinkel ’95 port Series category for her work on the New Day, New Way series, which documented the 181st fighter wing saying goodbye to their F-16s and hello to their new high-tech mission. (See photo, above.) Angela Hicks Bowman, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Angie’s List, was a presenter on the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour, which was held in Carmel, Ind., Aug. 4, 2008. The event was the first-ever national collegiate entrepreneur tour and attracted high school and college students as well as community leaders in the area. Christopher S. Alcott is chief information officer for Landshire, Inc., in Belleville, Ill. Landshire is a food-service company, making pre-wrapped sandwiches for grocery and convenience stores. Chris oversees all technical equipment and systems for the company. Members of the 1997-98 Delta Gamma sorority met in Oklahoma for a mini-reunion, May 2008. Those attending included Jennifer Winchester Parrett ’98, Tamara Heetland Campise, Jennifer Cunningham Martin and Allison Morrow Delp. They also celebrated the birth of Allison’s daughter with a surprise shower.
