Andrea A. Slodowicz is the associate media director at Starcom MediaVest Group’s Tapestry unit in Chicago. She oversees Hispanic media planning for Kraft Foods brands. Andrea was named one of the “25 Twentysomethings” in an August issue of Advertising Age, representing the brightest young stars in marketing and advertising.

Grunden received a master’s degree in mass communication from the Virginia Commonwealth University Adcenter on May 22, 2004. She is a junior copywriter at the Martin Agency in Richmond, Va. The commercial she and a fellow student created for the Ad Council’s Campaign for Freedom ran nationally on July 4, 2004. Elizabeth A. Lee is a teaching assistant and a student in archaeology at Florida State University. She spent the 2004 summer on an archaeological dig in a remote region of the Ukraine. Nicole N. Long earned a master’s degree in college student personnel from Ohio University, June 11, 2004. She is the program coordinator for multicultural programs at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. McNabney recently completed a two-year tenure for Teach For America as a seventh grade life science teacher at Havenscourt Middle School in Oakland, Calif. He says the experience has changed his life and brought him to understand the important responsibility that the privileged members of our society have toward the unprivileged. He plans to work with students in community schools to encourage them to reach for college educations. He encourages others with privileged educations to be aware of this need in our country and consider the need to “give back.” Mark T.
