He provides counsel in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession and wealth preservation and transfer. He is also president of the board of directors of AIDS Legal Council of Chicago, an organization that protects the legal rights of individuals in the Chicago area affected by HIV/AIDS. Peter G. Ruppert gave The Robert C. McDermond Center Lecture at DePauw on Oct. 7, 2004. He is the founder and president of the National Heritage Academies in Grand Rapids, Mich. John P. Tull is team president of the San Diego Riptide. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the franchise, which plays in the Arena Football2 League. Timothy A. Weaver joined the Elkhart (Ind.) law firm of Barnes & Thornburg LLP as of counsel. He will concentrate on estate planning, Medicaid planning, elder law and business law.

Bradley D. Hauter was inducted into the DePauw Athletic Hall of Fame during Old Gold Weekend, October 2004. He played soccer while a student at DePauw. He coaches men’s and women’s soccer, and softball, at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind. (See photo, page 76.) Jennifer Michels Heitman is a teacher at the Mountain Way School in Morris Plains, N.J. She is the K-2 Spanish teacher and district-wide English as a Second Language teacher. John P. Rhodes and Tracy A. Labin were married in July 2004. John is an assistant federal defender with the Federal Defenders of Montana in Missoula. Tracy is the director of the Indian Law Clinic at the University of Montana School of Law.
