Today, Friday, August 26, from 2 to 4 p.m., Dan’s Papers “Simple Art of Cooking” columnist and author of Savoring the Hamptons: Discovering the Food and Wine of Long Island’s East End, Silvia Lehrer, will work from her newly published cookbook to offer techniques and tips that will turn out an array of tasty dishes suitable for novice and expert chefs alike. That’s a “mouthful!” At press time there were still a few spots left for this special presentation. Enjoy Silvia’s expert take on the who-whatwhy-when-how of East End Cuisine and sample her creations made from local bounty.
