It’s going to be three incredible days of making a difference together! Following the volunteer days, we will be stopping for lunch. The museum accepts artifacts, photos, and other items that document the rich history of the geophysical profession and related industries. To complete the day, we will stop at Kirby Ice House for a delightful meal and to appreciate the outdoor surroundings. The departure time from Jimmy Burke is 11:45am; arrive 15 minutes earlier for check-in.

Luke has served the swimming community for five years, transitioning from lifeguard to lifeguard trainer and now being a pool manager. As a result of his dedication and hard work, safety standards have been maintained, chemicals have been managed, and the staff has been trained. Luke’s contributions have undoubtedly been invaluable in ensuring the pool’s summer success. Congratulations, Luke, on this well-deserved recognition! Part-time employees play a crucial role in our organization, offering flexibility and valuable contributions across the Parks and Recreation Department. Their importance lies in their ability to fill essential roles, especially during peak hours or seasons, without requiring full-time commitments.
